SPECTROLINE(R) RELEASES THE EDGE(TM) 13 SERIES: A NEW LINE OF GANGABLE, FANLESS, LED UV-A, IP65 RATED FLOOD LAMPS FOR NON-DESTRUCTIVE TESTING

WESTBURY, NY--(Marketwired - December 01, 2017) -

Be on the Cutting Edge of NDT

/EINPresswire.com/ -- Spectronics Corporation, the world's foremost leader in ultraviolet fluorescent equipment, is releasing the first two models of the new EDGE™ 13 Series, a new group of fanless, LED UV-A, IP65 rated flood lamps. Each model is designed for overhead applications in non-destructive testing and fluorescent inspection. The first model being released today is the EDG-13SBLC, a fully ASTM E3022-2015 and Rolls-Royce 90061 compliant LED UV-A flood lamp for overhead non-destructive testing. The second model being released today is the EDG-13T, a non-compliant flood lamp perfect for NDT professionals who require a rugged, high-intensity lamp to spot fluorescent indications on large parts. Both EDGE™ 13 models come with 8-foot and 20-foot AC power cord options and are available for every country-of-destination. All models are gangable and can share the same power supply – making it easier to expand the inspection area by joining units together. Simply align the units together and use the gangable cord accessory to connect the units to the same power source. Every model in the EDGE™ 13 series comes with an easily mountable and adjustable bracket for modifying overhead inspection configurations. Additionally, every model comes with 13 Long-Lasting LED UV-A Lenses and is IP65 rated – signifying the unit can be fully covered in dust and suffer no intrusion. The IP65 rating also means the unit is protected against jets of water from all directions.
