Lynn E. Riggleman Jr., 59, of Tyrone, gained his wings Thursday, with his wife by his side. He was born in Tyrone, son of the late Lynn E. Sr. and Shirley A. (Krider) Riggleman.
He was married June 2, 2001, at Grazierville Methodist Church to Kimberly D. Christopher, who survives after 24 years together.
In addition to his wife, Lynn is survived by children: Dustin (Cassandra) and Chelsea of Huntingdon, McKenzie of Hollidaysburg and Clayton of Tyrone; grandchildren: Caylor, Kaysen, Karson and River; sisters: Treva, Joanna and Betty; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; nephew, Mitchell Ray; brothers-in-law, Sam Ray and David “Hawk” Sprankle; and mother-in-law, Sherrie Christofer.
Lynn was a 1984 graduate of Tyrone High School and had last worked as a machinist for Norfolk Southern Railroad.
Lynn had a deep love for his family. He enjoyed fishing, archery, camping, music, trains, working on cars and playing with his dogs.
Friends will be received from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, April 3, 2025, at Derman Funeral Home Inc., Tyrone; and from 10 until the 11 a.m. service Friday, April 4, 2025, at the funeral home.
