This was some game and, in a way, it felt like we were already in knockout rugby territory with, in all, ten tries scored and end-to-end action throughout as Ulster accounted for the DHL Stormers on Friday night.
But all that really mattered was that Ulster did it and kept their hopes of finishing in the United Rugby Championship’s top eight afloat, while we are, of course, about to encounter knockout stuff for real as a week today they take on the mighty Bordeaux in the last 16 of the Champions Cup.
