FAYETTEVILLE — The Arkansas and Florida baseball teams will play a doubleheader Saturday beginning at noon at Baum-Walker Stadium.

The teams agreed to the doubleheader Friday prior to the start of their scheduled 6 p.m. series opener. The doubleheader will replace a scheduled game Sunday when there is a high chance of rain and thunderstorms in Fayetteville.

Saturday’s second game will begin 45 minutes after the conclusion of the first game. Both games will be regulation nine innings, but will have a run rule of 10 after seven innings in effect.

This is the second consecutive weekend the second-ranked Razorbacks (35-6, 14-4 SEC) will play a Saturday doubleheader. They split two games at South Carolina last Saturday, with a 6-3 loss in the first game and a 9-6 victory in the finale.

Florida (21-19, 8-10) has not played a doubleheader this season.

Due to the change, only tickets purchased for Saturday can be used to attend the doubleheader. Single-game tickets for Sunday’s game can be exchanged through the Razorbacks’ ticket office.

Brew Pig Sooie has been postponed from Sunday to a May 11 game against Mississippi State.
