When is Amazon Prime Day? Here’s what we know so far about Prime Day 2024
It’s official. Amazon Prime Day is happening this summer. Officials announced Friday that Amazon’s biggest deals event of the year will be returning this July. No official dates were announced, but historically, Prime Day has taken place in the month of July on the Tuesday and Wednesday after the Fourth of July. In 2024, that would be Jul. 9-10. Prime Day 2024 will mark Amazon’s 10th Prime Day in history. Prime Day began back in 2015 as a way to celebrate Prime members on Amazon’s 20th anniversary. The past two years, Amazon has also held a Prime Day-like savings event in October. In 2022, they held Prime Early Access Sale, and in 2023, they held Prime Big Deal Days. Now, this year will be no different in terms of who gets access to Prime Day deals. Only Amazon Prime subscribers will be able to take advantage of the deep discounts being seen on popular items. According to Amazon officials, Prime members purchased more than 375 million items worldwide during Prime Day 2023 and saved more than $2.5 billion. Officials said Prime members will be able to get deals on back-to-school supplies, and they are looking to make shipping even faster this year. The U.S., Canada, Mexico, India, Japan, Germany, France and the U.K. are just some of the countries where Prime Day will take place. While we don’t yet know details on what deals you can expect to see this year, there are always sales happening at Amazon. We’ll be sure to share more details as we get closer to Prime Day. In the meantime, make sure you’re a Prime subscriber ahead of the event, and check out some of the deals we’re seeing right now on popular items on Amazon’s digital shelves.
