As gas prices in New Hampshire hit record highs again, owners of driving schools say they're getting hit hard.The average price of a gallon of regular unleaded gasoline in New Hampshire on Monday was $4.297, according to AAA, tying a record set in March.Jon Benson, the owner of Benson's Driving School, said he has 29 cars on the road, which makes for a considerable gas bill that has been rising significantly in recent months.Benson said he's not shortening students' time in the classroom or on the road, but they're not traveling as far. He said gas prices aren't the only costs that are increasing."The price of gas isn't the only thing that's gone up," he said. "Everything around, just like everything — shipping, anything else — so any of our repairs have gone up and tires have gone up, all those associated things."The prices at the pump are flirting with record highs nationwide. According to AAA, the nationwide average Monday was $4.328.Dan Goodman, of AAA Northern New England, said the prices are a volatile situation."At this point, motorists should expect prices to continue to increase," Goodman said. "We don't know where this is going to end."
