'No rental, no timeshare': Drake shows off new private plane

Drake might have started at the bottom, but now he’s going up. Way up.

The Toronto rapper unveiled his new private plane dubbed Air Drake to his Instagram followers on Friday.

“No rental, no timeshare, no co-owners,” he said as workers put the finishing touches on his gleaming new sky ride.

The plane bears Drake’s famous OVO owl logo and his famous 6 God prayer hands.

Inside, he gives a glimpse of a spacious cabin that includes a deep-seated couch and luxurious armchairs.

In the video, Drake points to Ajay Virmani, president & CEO of Cargojet Airways, and credits him with making the deal happen.

In 2018, Forbes listed the rapper as one of hip-hop’s wealthiest acts with earnings of US$47 million.

But Air Drake isn’t a completely new concept. In 2010, Virgin Airlines offered flights from Toronto to San Francisco and Los Angeles under the Air Drake moniker.
