Azerbaijan’s Sumgait Technologies Park (STP) has delivered the first cargo of power cables to Tajikistan, STP told Trend.
The cables were supplied in accordance with the previously reached agreement with Tajikhydroelectromontaj OJSC for the reconstruction of the Ravshan electricity substation.
“We are producing the next cargo of power cables for the company, the cargo will be shipped by the end of May,” STP said. “We are also working on new projects in the markets of Kazakhstan and Georgia.”
STP produces 220-kV, 330-kV and 500-kV cables. The technologies park is the biggest facility implementing infrastructure projects in Azerbaijan. STP produces electrical equipment and machinery, including a wide range of various cables, transforming stations, high-voltage equipment, water turbines and pumps, electrical engines, pipes and technical gases.
