Bishkek, Feb.8, 2018 / Kabar /. Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan and China agreed on a single sample permit form for International Road Transport of Goods under the trilateral agreement between the countries, Minister of Foreign Trade of Uzbekistan, Jamshid Khodjaev told at the meeting today in Bishkek.
Khodjaev informed that the Uzbek side brought these samples to Bishkek. “Each permit entitles to carry out one round trip on the route Tashkent - Andijan - Osh - Irkeshtam - Kashgar through established border crossing points at the state borders” he said.
On Jan. 24-25, 2018, a regular tripartite meeting was also held in Tashkent. The sides reached an agreement on the established route from Feb. 2018, after the transfer by the Uzbek side of the sample permit forms.
The Chinese side informed that in order to ensure the safety of cargo transportation, there are restrictions on the use of awning vehicles on its territory, in accordance with its national legislation. The Kyrgyz and Uzbek sides offered the Chinese side to eliminate these restrictions as soon as possible in order to facilitate the implementation of the International Road Transport of Goods.
At the same time, the Kyrgyz and Uzbek sides were informed that the permissible height of vehicles in the territory of China should not exceed 4 meters and for container ships 4.2 meters.
