Bishkek, Jan. 13, 2018. /Kabar/. The cargo on board of the crashed Boeing 747 was destined for 19 countries of the world, first deputy head of the Kyrgyz President’s Office Mukhametkaly Abulgaziev told journalists.
The cargo plane Boeing-747-400F of ACT Airlines (MyCargo), which was flying from Hong Kong to Istanbul crashed on Dacha-Suu village, not far from Manas airport on Jan. 16, 2017.
As a results of the crash, 39 people were killed: 4 crew members were citizens of Turkey and 35 citizens of Kyrgyzstan. January 17, 2017 was declared a day of mourning.
Abulgaziev said that, the cargo was sent from Hong Kong to Istanbul, from where it was to be distributed to 19 countries.
"Such data were received within the criminal case initiated by the Prosecutor General's Office of the Kyrgyz Republic. Among the countries-recipients of the goods were Russia, Ukraine, Spain, Serbia, African countries, Latin America, etc.," he said.
Abulgaziev added that in Kyrgyzstan the Boeing 747 had to refuel and change part of the crew.
"From Hong Kong to Istanbul, the aircraft required 64 tons of fuel. At the time of landing at Manas airport there was 25 tons of fuel in the tank of Boeing. In addition, the commander of the aircraft and one crew member were in the Hyatt hotel in Bishkek. They had to change part of the team," he added.
